The Monarchs Ice Hockey Club is an Ice Hockey Victoria sanctioned club. To play with us you will need to enter one of these leagues:
Summer League
The Ice Hockey Victoria Summer league plays from October to March. It is open to male and female players and is considered recreational. Don’t get us wrong, this is still a competitive league but it’s a good place to start if you’re a new player or if you’re experienced but want to play all year long.
This league is mixed, contact and non-checking.
Winter League
The Winter League is the official Ice Hockey Victoria league. It is open to male and female players except at the highest level, Premier A. The competition starts in April every year and ends in September and you will need to be drafted to a club and have played at least 2 seasons of Summer league to enter (if you’re a new player).
This league is mixed, contact and non-checking (except Prem A which is a men’s division and full checking)
